I'm Here Again

Well, I am in Texas, and was looking at all the blogs. I don't remember how to bring in pictures yet but I am attempting an update. It was so great reading all of the things going on at home and in Arizona. I sure love our family. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family and extended families. We have been in Texas for a Mannatech meeting for the past week. We will be going home on Tuesday. It has been a great week but still tiring being in meetings all day. Troy got in last night for a two day meeting and it was great seeing him. There was a storm so they had to turn his plane around and land in Oklahoma and wait on the runway until the weather cleared up. He was four hours late but made it safely. We were so excited to get our latest grandson, Jeb. He sure is a cutie. And, now, that grandma of many is growing. Heather is due in November (maybe on my birtday again like Kaylee) and Jodi is expecting in February but since she goes over a lot, maybe another birthday on hers and Grandpa Great's. Wouldn't that be exciting. We sure are looking forward to the next two. God is good! Of coure, that means are number will grow to 32 grandchildren. Well, once again, thanks for all the posts and keeping all of us update. I love to look at them and see the wonderful pictures and the great posts. Love, Grandma of Many, Mom, Aunt, Wife, and Sister, Dottie

Great News!

Well, this Grandma of Many keeps growing and being blessed. We have been on a trip and just found out that our 31st grandchild is on the way. Troy and Heather, congratulations! We are so excited for you and will be praying for a great pregnancy. Time is getting soon for Tami and we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of her 8th child around April 27th. She is doing great and looking great. I had the blessing of taking Tami, Alex, Collin, Anna and Cassie to a blue grass academy called Wintergrass in Washington. We didn't get much sleep but it was amazing to watch what they learn and to hear from many great bands. The day we returned home, I had 3 hours to get ready for a road tour for Mannatech. Ken and I went to Chattanooga, TN where we got to also visit with Hugh's Mom, Carmelita, and his sister, Carmann and Todd and their two children Samuel and Rhianna. I apologize if I spelled the names wrong. We then went to Baton Rouge, Louisianna and had a great group there and finally to Little Rock, Arkansas where I am right now. We will be heading home in a few hours and I am looking forward to seeing everyone. I've tried to keep up with the blogs while I was gone and I am so happy I can keep in touch this way. I love you all. Mom, Grandma Dot, Sister, Aunt etc.

Good to be back!

Well, it is good to be back. Hope everyone won't faint because I finally posted again. We have been pretty busy since we returned home from Hawaii. The grandchildren continue to amaze me with all of their accomplishments. The excelled in the speech tournament and in the chess tournament but have kept humble hearts. Tami only have 2 1/2 months left until our 30th grandchild is born and we are looking forward to the new baby. God sure is good. I want to share the link below: If you haven't seen this, it's worth the time to go to the site...
I guarantee you will watch spell-bound until the last drop of paint is put in place. Make sure your sound is turned up

I'm Back

Well, I just wanted to let everyone know that I am back. I haven't been able to blog as I couldn't get in to do it. Kenny just came over and fixed it for me. Thank you Kenny. I will have to relearn how to put pictures in but it will be a little longer. I am going to Hawaii in two days. We will be going on a cruise once we get there and stopping at four of the islands. Troy and Heather and Kaylee will be attending along with Kenny and Liisa and Noah. I'm sure they will be able to put some pictures up. Ken and I are looking forward to the trip and are happy that a couple of our grandchildren will be there. I will miss the rest.

Girls Night Out

Well, I just thought I would let you know about my weekend with the grandchildren. It was my special time with the middle girls. I took Anna, Ellie, Esther, Cassie, Emma and Mercy. We had such a wonderful time. I picked four of them up Saturday morning and we went and heard the Goldman family sing in Grants Pass at the Art on the Street Festival or whatever it was called. They did great and I saw them again that night on the Channel 10 News . We had lunch with the Goldman family and Steve's Mom, Nita, after they performed. From there I took the six girls. We went to some antique shops in Grants Pass first and than stopped at several garage sales where they bought quite a few things. We went and gathered up some clothes for them and went to the motel in town. We got two connecting rooms where we could leave the door open and all have beds. We went swimming and had races and went in the hot tub. After that, we were pretty hungry so went two different places to get food and bring back to the room. We played Nerts and had a lot of fun. The girls than each did a song for me and than we had each set of sisters sing a song. After that, I had them do impromtu songs where I gave them a word and they had to make up a song. Boy, did they do good and we laughed a lot. We than toasted and prayed for the Sabbath day and the time we had together. We watched some of Animal Planet and finally went to bed. The next morning it started all over. We went to breakfast at the hotel, went swimming, packed up, and than went to the mall to shop for outfits for church. They had so much fun finding dresses, necklaces, shoes and accessories. Anna found a beautiful outfit and looked so grown up. Ellie and Emma found matching outfits and Esther, Cassie and Mercy found matching outfits. Maybe Karissa will put the pictures on her site. We ate lunch and than went to church. They had practiced a song together and did it for church and all each thanked me there too. It was a wonderful day. There was only one accident and that is when we were racing in the pool and Cassie and I collided. I'm a little sore but it was no one's fault as we were both going backwards. Thanks girls for a wonderful weekend with Grandma. You made my week!!!

Love,

Grandma Dot
