Girls Night Out

Well, I just thought I would let you know about my weekend with the grandchildren. It was my special time with the middle girls. I took Anna, Ellie, Esther, Cassie, Emma and Mercy. We had such a wonderful time. I picked four of them up Saturday morning and we went and heard the Goldman family sing in Grants Pass at the Art on the Street Festival or whatever it was called. They did great and I saw them again that night on the Channel 10 News . We had lunch with the Goldman family and Steve's Mom, Nita, after they performed. From there I took the six girls. We went to some antique shops in Grants Pass first and than stopped at several garage sales where they bought quite a few things. We went and gathered up some clothes for them and went to the motel in town. We got two connecting rooms where we could leave the door open and all have beds. We went swimming and had races and went in the hot tub. After that, we were pretty hungry so went two different places to get food and bring back to the room. We played Nerts and had a lot of fun. The girls than each did a song for me and than we had each set of sisters sing a song. After that, I had them do impromtu songs where I gave them a word and they had to make up a song. Boy, did they do good and we laughed a lot. We than toasted and prayed for the Sabbath day and the time we had together. We watched some of Animal Planet and finally went to bed. The next morning it started all over. We went to breakfast at the hotel, went swimming, packed up, and than went to the mall to shop for outfits for church. They had so much fun finding dresses, necklaces, shoes and accessories. Anna found a beautiful outfit and looked so grown up. Ellie and Emma found matching outfits and Esther, Cassie and Mercy found matching outfits. Maybe Karissa will put the pictures on her site. We ate lunch and than went to church. They had practiced a song together and did it for church and all each thanked me there too. It was a wonderful day. There was only one accident and that is when we were racing in the pool and Cassie and I collided. I'm a little sore but it was no one's fault as we were both going backwards. Thanks girls for a wonderful weekend with Grandma. You made my week!!!

We had a wonderful time in Texas and were glad to get home for the twin's birthday party. Mailee and Murren turned 7 and we got them purple and pink bike. They were sure happy. We are leaving for Los Angeles tomorrow for a training and back on Sunday for church. I was just sent this video link from Gay Ellen and wanted to share it with everyone. It is awesome.

Look for Me in Phoenix

Well, I haven't posted for a while but wanted to let everyone know what is going on. We have been home almost a week now but are leaving tomorrow morning for Texas. We have to be at the airport at 4:30 am. We will be going through Phoenix so I will wave to our relatives there. Be sure and wave back. I went to the speech club last night in Grants Pass and got to hear several of the grandchildren give their speeches. It was actually five of the Goldman children; Alex, Collin, Anna, Cassie, and Murren. Mailee was going to talk but they ran out of time. I wanted to go hear the rest but everyone was done. I will have to go again and hear the others. They asked me which room I wanted to go in and I said any because there would be grandchildren in all the rooms, ha! While I am sitting hear posting, Devin is giving me a massage. He is really good as most of you know. Sorry, I have him. Well, it is 10:45 and I need to go pack. Talk to you later. By the way, if we have a layover coming home Ginger, I will be there to get my dolls!!!

Swimming with the Sharks and Stingrays in Bora Bora

Ken and I had such a wonderful restful vacation in Bora Bora (close to Tahiti) the end of July and beginning of August 2007. We did so many things and this is just one of them. We got woke up one morning in the middle of the night (3 am) by Kenny telling us we had grandchild number 29 which was Noah Kaden Anderson. What a wonderful phone call. I'm glad we made it home and didn't get eaten up by the sharks or stingrays. Ken is on the the left. I was taking the picture although I had been in there also.

My New Blog

Thank you Kenny for setting me up a blog. I pray that I can glorify God on this blog and show what an inheritance God has given us. Since my blog is "Grandma of Many" I will be introducing soon my 30 grandchildren. We just had our 29th a few weeks ago and now we have number 30 due in April.
